The arrival of spring brings with it the possibility of a clean slate. Cape gardens are alive with colour. They remind us that despite all the turmoil we face in the current state of the world, there is a home truth that marks the resilience of the South African spirit. We survive the whim of the political weather, making do with what we have – encapsulated well by the phrase: ‘n Boer maak ‘n plan, and whether we come from an Afrikaans heritage or not, we will rally in the coming weeks as the world’s rugby nations become the topic of discussion around braais, corner shops and office counters. Hearts may break should teams flail and, no doubt, a ‘vloermoer’ or two will ensue. Whatever the outcome, we will thrive in pride that is our heritage as a South African Nation. It is with this spirit in mind that we present to you the Bruce Jack Heritage collection. A collection of unusually rare, ultra-premium, one-of-a-kind wines.
